Psalm 134: Greetings of Night Watchers.

Behold, bless the LORD, all servants of the LORD,
         Who serve by night in the house of the LORD!

Lift up your hands to the sanctuary
         And bless the LORD.

May the LORD bless you from Zion,
         He who made heaven and earth.

    3rd watch of the Watchman

Ezekiel 33: The Watchman’s Duty

And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
“Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them,
‘If I bring a sword upon a land,
and the people of the land take one man from among them
and make him their watchman,
and he sees the sword coming upon the land
and blows on the trumpet and warns the people,
then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning,
and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.
‘He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning;
his blood will be on himself.
But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.
‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet
and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them,
he is taken away in his iniquity;
but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand.’

      “Now as for you, son of man,
I have appointed you a watchman
for the house of Israel
;
so you will hear a message from My mouth
and give them warning from Me.
“When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’
and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way,
that wicked man shall die in his iniquity,
but his blood I will require from your hand.
“But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way
and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity,
but you have delivered your life.

First Watch is the Evening Watch and is from 6:00 PM  9:00 PM
It is a time to regroup and still ourselves from the world. It is a time to quiet our hearts and meditate.

Genesis 24:63 says, “Isaac went out to meditate in the field in the evening. He lifted his eyes and looked, and there, the camels were coming.” Isaac saw his future. Ask the Lord to visit you with visions of your future.

Second Watch is the Midnight Watch from 9:00 PM  Midnight.
This is a key time, This is a time that God is dealing with our enemies that are trying to keep us from entering into His perfect plan for our lives.

It was at midnight that the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt. (Ex 11:4; 12:29)

Psalms 119:62 says, At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, because of Your righteous judgments.

This is a good time to call out for the righteous judgments of the Lord, giving thanks and receiving visitation.
This is the time to release decrees, cutting off your enemies.

The Fourth Watch is the Morning Watch – A New Day Dawning from 3:00 AM – 6:00 AM. This watch is linked with the approaching of the morning light and the breaking of the day. The fourth watch is the last portion of the night in which the Lord can prepare you for the day ahead. This is the time to make decrees and to speak into your life, your family and your future. Decree into your work place, your profession, your Church and your Territory.
